What is Social Dancing?

Social dances are dances that have a social function and context. Social dances are intended for participation rather than performance. They are often danced merely to socialise and for entertainment, though they may have ceremonial, competitive and performance functions 

Why join our dance classes?

We love how dancing is a way to help people express their feelings, emotions, personality, thoughts, and to develop new friendships. 

Dancing helps you burn more calories an hour than riding a bike or swimming, relieve stress, release toxins, increase your overall fitness and general well being. 

In addition, dancing not only will help you in physical fitness, but mental fitness too, because It involves heavy usage of our memory through recalling steps, patterns, progressions and dance routines, making it an amazing exercise for your brain

What I need to Wear/Bring?

You may want to consider wearing a skirt or dress that's flowy, leggings, fitted jeans or pants that are made from a stretchy fabric. Another great idea is yoga pants or capris, as they will allow you to move around easily. Be sure to avoid clothing that is tight or restrictive, as it will make it difficult to dance.

Footwear can be sneakers, shoes or heels but make sure you can easily move in them!
